High Rock Sports is the official referee assignor for JP Sports Leagues and Tournaments.  All officials must be High Rock Sports Certified to referee JPS games.

High Rock Sports Officials Certification Process:

STEP 1, APPLICATION: Complete the Online High Rock Sports Independent Contractor Agreement for Basketball Officials (Click Here).

STEP 2, W9: Complete the Online W9 form and save as a PDF, or Download, print, and save your W9 as a PDF and have it ready to upload to the High Rock Sports / JPS Registration System.

STEP 3, CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT & REGISTER AS AN OFFICIAL: Create a login with username and password on the JPS Registration System...

Go to https://www.justplaysportscolorado.com

  1. Select "Registration" from the top banner.
  2. Scroll to find "Officials Registration - Annual 2023" from the list of Programs.
  3. Select the "Volunteer / Register Now" black button.
  4. Select "Add Enrollee" and add your name
  5. Select "Enrollment Type - Volunteer" (don't worry, you're not volunteering to referee, you'll be paid to referee!  This just adds you to our database of Game Officials).
  6. Select "Program - Officials Registration - Annual 2023"
  7. Select "Offering - Officials Registration"
  8. Select "Enrollment Selection - Referee"
  9. Select "Add Enrollment"
  10. Select "Proceed to Checkout"
  • At Checkout, you will enter the following information:
  • Enter your personal info for a Background Check.  The system will confidentially submit your information and a background check will be completed (no charge to you).
  • Upload your completed W9 (see Step 2 above, click here to complete a W9, save this in advance)
  • Confirm you've completed your High Rock Sports Independent Contractors Agreement.
  • Enter your Referee Experience.
  • Enter your Preferred Payment Method (Zelle, Venmo, or Check).
  • Agree to the JPS terms and conditions: Abuse Policy, Covid Risks, Code of Conduct, Release Waiver, Mutual Expectations.
  • Review and "Place Order."

STEP 5, CONFIRMATION: The Background Check will be completed, and you will only be contacted about it if there is an issue.  Once completed, High Rock Sports will contact you and confirm your Officiating Level and Payrate Assignment from High Rock Sports.

STEP 6, REQUEST GAMES: Login and begin accepting games to work!
